Each match consists of 3 sets of games to 5 points. Each game won is worth 2 games points, a tie 1, a loss 0. The first team to win 5 game points wins the set. The set winners gain 1 match point. A fourth match point is awarded to the team with the larger total of game points after 3 sets for a possible maximum of 4 match points. If a set ends in a 5-5 tie or the total number of game points is equal at the end of the match, a 1/2 match point will be awarded to each team. At the end of the season teams will be seeded according to their total number of match points. If teams are tied the higher seed will be awarded the team with more game points. If their game points are also equal the team with the most 20s will be seeded higher. A single elimination tournament will then be held to determine the league champions.
